"Australia Post is advising people to mail items now to avoid delays during Thursday's planned 24-hour stop work action.I hope that the next time nurses go on strike they will have the same decency to warn potential patients to get sick a day before the work stoppage. And this could also work for firemen...
"If you're wishing to send something of importance that you're keen to get in quickly then get it in the mail today so that it's ahead of the strike and therefore you won't be inconvenienced," says Matt Pollard from Australia Post.
