Everything you need to know about the war on terror
The US armed forces serving in Iraq and Afghanistan (as well as those of other Coalition partners) are all-volunteer forces. So is the Iraqi police and the Iraqi army, which continue to have no problem attracting recruits, despite the obvious dangers involved in the job.
Al Zarqawi's Al Qaeda franchise, on the other hand, is now sending a child with Down Syndrome to blow himself up at a polling station.
From a official post-election statement: "We in the al-Qaeda Organization for Holy War in Iraq will continue the jihad until the banner of Islam flutters over Iraq."
"Holy" war Al Qaeda-style: a Jordanian terrorist will fight the American "occupiers" (and the Iraqi "occupiers" of Iraq) to the last Iraqi Down Syndrome child.
